I tore out reverse Thanksgiving weekend. I got that fixed, but now it keeps coming out of first gear. It sure made our trip today a short one. Any ideas?

You can drill a hole in the side of the case at the shift forks. Then you can adjust the depth of first gear. I think eric debord's site explains where to drill the hole. when you are done just install a rubber freeze plug in the hole. Or tear it out and re jig it.

When we tore it down the pinion bearing had came apart. It is a 3 rib, but they are getting harder to find local, and the money to buy one is getting harder too.

If you never set it back right then tear it down and fix it.cheaper than tearing it up.check out Eric debord site.there is a link to it on the home page.you may want to try and go that route.or put a bungee cord on it  lol.Chad
