where can a man get an adj reamer for king pin bushings ? or if they arent available who rebuilds spindles ?

For the best fit,I have an automotive machine shop "hone" them on a wrist pin hone

Funny, i have been looking for the same thing. Through my research, I have learned that you need a reamer that can adjust to .710. For the adjustable reamer you will want to buy a 21/32 to 23/32. Most retail shops have this labeled as a size D. (I have no idea what the D is for)

If you google search "adjustable blade reamer", you will get several hits. The imported ones are $40 - $50 and a good one will run you $120 or so. The challenge is finding one that also comes with a Pilot.

I have decided to let a local machine shop ream mine for $40.

The "D" stands for DA 1 you need. :lol: :lol: :lol:


I would go with the machine shop if they screw up they'll fix it.

18mm? When i did mine i used an 18mm regular ol reamer i did howerver clamp the carriers down to my bridgeports table. Seemed to work?
