Im thinking of utilizing a Volvo motor in my next buggy I build...just wondering what your thoughts on this may be?

Volvo for a buggy, well that will be a first more than likely. My opinion would be parts and expense when it breaks something. Do your research on the motors longevity and see from that if it will be cost effective to do. The motors make good HP numbers.

I say......why not? I am sure there are better choices out there but if you have one, go for it. You will need to see who makes an adapter for them. You may have a hard time finding that.

something else to think about can you get another one if you need it . If you some how ruin that block you will be stuck with a 500$ adapter kit you want need

Hey if you need some parts let me know. I have 2 wagons that I am driving now and one of my best friends has several of them with plenty of parts! He was a volvo mech for several years and still works on them on the side. Go turbo!

heck yea i have like 4 of these do you think i could use a turbo diesel?

we have a guy that rides with us some times [when we don't hide good enough] he has a diesel it don't have enough RPM's four hill climbing

yea thats was one problem i was wondering about...wonder if there are some upgrades to get some more rpms out of a turbo diesel
