With steel prices, there is alot of steel there. I do think the t trailers are up there on price.

I didnt see a price whats it going for?I wouldnt think it would be to much to build yourself you wouldnt have to get so extravagant on the ramps that would definitely cut the cost in half if your haulin your buggy that way anyway you are pulling a trailer to haul the ramps.just my 2 cents

The piggy back carrier powder coated is $1500 and the T Trailer is $1200. Man I have some Ocean front property in Tennessee to sell you.

I dunno.......that rack, if you commisioned a fab shop to build it, would cost that.
Powdercoating is not very cheap either.
Lot of work in that it appears.
If you built it yourself and counted your time for anything, you'd have that in it.

Its all about making a buck at what you do.........

I agree with Turboblue, It takes a lot of labor to frabricate just about anything like that. I have the same issue when guys want me to build them a Custom Harley. I give them a price and they just about faint. Even when the quote is accepted and its all said and done you end up making about $10.00 an hour. How many of you guys really want to work for that Hmmm!

I guess I was I was referring more to the T trailer than anything. I like the piggy back carrier and have seen in on the web before. What I would be concerned about is having it jump off the rail/ramps and damaging the buggy and the truck. Would be easy to carry your buggy on the truck and then pull a trailer with another buggy possibly.

Even the T-trailers aren't too far off with todays prices IMHO.
