Jesse after all the work I did cuttin those v treads i atleast got to try em. I cut almosst 25 pounds off each tire. I filled one 5 gallon bucket up and still have a pile about 3ft around 6 inches deep left.  I cut every other set of lugs out and cut the side walls down about 3 inches. They are soft as 4 wheeler tire, they should work fairly well.

Bmoore I think you may have something there. Everyone keeps coming up with names for it but I think you got the best one yet. Ive got to weld my lower shock mounts on in the rear and seat belt tabs and its done. 8) Next I have to freshen the motor and raise the compression and build the tranny. I figure about 3 weeks it will be ready for action. :D :D :D :D

Ive done a buggy like he did and it works, I just did it with heat from a torch that way i could spread both sides equal. It looks bad ass whether or not it works good I dont know. We will find out shortly. :) :)

Kevin i wouldn't spread those supports so far apart in ur tree bars. Ive found out that if u have more than 1 foot between them they will bend all to hell. jm.02 Looks really good

Their really not that far apart. I think their like 14 inches center to center and 120 wall. Im gunna try it if they bent i can porta power them out and add braceing. thanks for the input though. :)

I'm anxious to look at those v treads u cut up. I think I may have to be a copy cat and cut mine the same way. the tread on my dicos is to close together. they will spin out easy. since u cut out the lugs and spread out the tread i bet those things will bite hard. You done an awesome job on the buggy, and it didn't really take you all that long. Will you be ready for the first hill climb compitition?

Yea it didnt take me long because our work got slow and thats all i had to do. I had forgot what a pain in the butt it was to build a buggy. Bebos was the last one I built. It should be running in a couple of weeks and it will be at the 1st hillclimb I just dont know who will be driveing it me or Bebo.
