Is anyone running hiems for tie rod ends on a stock vw steering box pitman arm or is the end of the pitman arm to small for both ends to bolt to it

I have.. I ran 3/4 hiems and used high misaligned inserts which drop down to 1/2"..

I have some 5/8 bore with 3/4 thread that work great for steering.... If your iterested i could fix you up with some heims and make you a couple of misalignment spacer for the steering box
