I just rebuilt the carb on my bros ride and need some help. I took the whole thing apart cleaned everything. The prob is on the adjustments. where is a good start? Like maybe turning something it all the way and in then back off 2 or 3 turns or something. It will run fine just wont idel unless choke is almost closed. ???

That big gold thing on the side called an anti dieseling valve. Take it out and clip the copper rod off and it will idle. You don't need it anyway.Then pull up 34 pict carb adjustment. Also those butterfly bushings are bad about causing intake leaks. And they don't come in a rebuild kit.To my knowlege new ones come in a 32 pict.This is DD. Back in the late 80's - 90's I rode Calerea all weekend every weekend. What's it like today?

Thanks man i'll try it. we ride there every weekend except for hunting season. they came in and took down all the old power lines down and put new on in. And made access roads to all the hills. I got some vids of me on Pride Rock and the backside of slate rock but to dumb to put them on here.
