This DAMN Bama buggy is gunna have 6ft shock towers to, and yes the tires are staying on. Jackie always told me bigger is better so i cant down size. I put the flat roof on it so when it rolls over it wont rock back and forth like a old mans rocking chair   . Im thinking about drilling holes in the frame to shave weight whats everyones thoughts   .

Kevin only drill holes in the main support hoop . You would not want to compromise the integrity of the bracing. And them shock hoops need to be 6ft2 to be regulation

Wow Kevin ! That does look good.I wan't to take a pic of it just as it comes up and over the crest of the new Mt. Busby.Remember it is curved and sloped and you have to rt cut brake it ,go over the narrow road and thru the crowd and on up the 2nd level, hard left turn and come back down to the crowd.Just trying to give you encouragement.I'm going to be hacking and wacking a new hill this sat and sun .

the only problem with a one-seater is like when i got mine , is i still had 2 of my 2-seaters & did'nt want to ride 'em anymore , in fact the only time i did was when my one seater was down or needed something small
, the one seaters are addicitive , switching back to the two seater was like going from a fighter jet to a mini-van !!!
i believe hes gonna find truth in this also !!

I doubt very seriously that this single seater will be able to take half the hell I put on my 2 seater. Ive drove a few single seaters and yes they are fast but cant handle the steep rough climbs that I like. The two seater is staying for the bad stuff. The single seater is for comp only. Ive only been outdone once here in Alabama by a single seater and it wasnt because the hill was bad, just slick. Im looking forward to finishing this thing, its gunna be fun. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

eaasy there cleo,
i was just talkin bout the one seater feels like your in a cockpit of a plane , this comment had nothing to do with how one is better than the other , or their climbing ability , just meant you'll feel different in it than you do your two seater , you'll have equal vision of both sides ( tires ) of the buggy & it will maneuaver quicker in tight situations thats all !!  8) 8)

That's why it feels so good in my 2 seater to follow a single seater and do what they do,,,or more ( admittedly rarely).

They definately feel different and alot more stable as far as turning and going across a hill. Thats why im building this thing so I can compete in the cookie cutter comps. Im looking forward to it. Bebos coming over tonight to make sure it fits him as well as me. Its gunna be ugly this year, bring your cameras and band aids prolly gunna need em.   .

Looks good!
After you ride it, the ol 2 seater better will become a parts car  :D
You can say the single is just for competitions all you want, but when its time to load up and go ride it will be hard to make yourself put a Caprice on the trailer when you got a Z06 sittin there!

There again, ive drove a z06 when i used to have a mustang. The mustang would bust that z06 ass. Ive had the 2 seater for about 7 years now, it will be hard for me to part it out. Hell I cant sale it, ive got to much in it. Im not puttin near the money in this single seater, i just cant afford it. I cant wait to finish it, you guys are gunna laugh your asses off at me. Im a good sport though ill just laugh with ya.

I never said a stock stang. It was a coupe car with a 347 stroker and a little spray. It was fast and cost half what a z06 does.
