On the big woodsbuggy ride weekend i think you guys were down at scooby trying to beat a car CV off of an axle you guys had for me when i blew my car cv? The red buggy blew up like 3 cv's or something? There were two guys that looked like they were twins maybe(atleast brothers)? I think later when my buggy was broke in the woods, i was riding with Dave(dvs1) back to oaktree and one of you guys were stuck on a hill and Dave tried to pull you up? Was that you guys?

Haha yeah thanks for atleast trying, Darek (baja1965) had a cv that he gave me so it all worked out. No i didn't see you try it, it was pretty rough towards the top on the left side that weekend, thats where my cv popped.

yeah it louvered them out pretty good, considering i rode that whole weekend on a loose flywheel not knowing it, but the real damage was the hole the gland nut screws into, it is like a square now.

I have been to Silver Lake and you should go try it. The hills are in my opinion rather lame. Althought tops of them become very steep. I climbed test hill in third gear and right before I got to the top turned left and drove across the face of it. But the equipment those guys have up there is really cool. I saw one two seat Barrian that had been streched out with a Chevy big block, powerglide and narrowed ford nine inch in the rear. Looked like a two seat top fueler. Also when you are sitting there in a woodsbuggy that looks like it has been driven thru the gates of hell, The powdercoat boys look at you kinda nervously. I would love to get a few of us together for a trip up there some time. You wouldn't regret it.
Dean
P.S. Boggers work great it the sand.

Dean,

I would be down for a trip up there in the spring, i'm sure kyle would be too. I just bought a 98 dodge 2500 (5.9 gas) so i am going to try and get an 18 foot flat bed (is that long enough?) to put both buggies on. sorry for threadjackin

My trailer is 18' and I have hauled two buggies manny times. I made a T stand and mounted it on the back of the trailer to set the rear buggy on. Worked pretty good. The only thing I didn't like was the time it took to load and unload.

we stack the fronts, we built ramps and a stand to drive up on and over the lower buggies tires. 18' trailer.
