I read a few of the 4x4 mags, because well we dot have a buggy one for anything but sand, lol. And in Petersons they do an Ultimate Adventure that sounds kinda fun. Week long trip stopping at 4 or 5 different parks. I'd like to set one of these up for a group of us next summer. Not sure on details yet, just seeing if anyone is interested. Biggest cost will be fuel, and maybe repairs. Looking to get 8 - 12 buggies on a trip from Sunday to Saturday. Anyone interested? And yes I know it won't be cheap

If I knew one could get through Haspin (based on size) I would consider building one, I think they are awsome. Never seen one in person though.

North to south or vise versa? Nothing set in stone untill we get a group together. Then see what everyone wants. I can hit 4 parks in one week with alot less miles then I can hit them in seperate trips to and from.

are you talking about riding all day at one park then packing up and trailing it to another park? i did hear about a buggy adventure, i think it was in pennsylvania, where they take about 10 buggies and they would have predesinated camps set up, and you would ride from one camp to another. i think it was about 3 days long. but if you would really want to set up a cool adventure, we should get a hold of gasman and im sure he could arrange about a three or four day trip, we would pack the tents and food in the buggy and ride for 3 or 4 days, now that would be a real adventure.

Something like that sounds great also. Downside is how far away from a trailer do you get if something big breaks? Not like we are gunna have spare trannies strapped on our buggies. But then I doubt a trip like that would be super abusive. I'm still game for other ideas, but a week at one park seems like to much to me. And a 2 day ride takes me 4 days because of the distance.

i say start up north and work your way down to the south like start at welsville and end at fultondale and pick places that's not pay to ride parks to go to so people get to see places that did not involve the hillclimbs it would be all new places

Yep Jesse, thats the idea. Or something like that for a start. Plus it gets to see how your buggy does on different terrain. Not the same terrain in different states, lol.

so what yall are talking, is to ride for a day, pack everything up, travel down the highway to another park, ride for another day, and pack up again and ride for another day and so on for a week or so, well that would be kind of like a carnival, all we need is the freak show. and if we start up north and head south, by the time we hit alabama, we will look and smell like a bunch of carnies   i think that will probably take a couple of weeks and cost alot of money in fuel. it would be cool if you could pull it off.

Give us a heads up and we all can take off from work thru the week and see yall at Choccolloco or Fultondale.I wouldn't mind meeting up with the tour somewhere and making my way back to home.Fultondale has a Days Inn right on the edge of the trail. Drive your buggy right up to the door.Start at the bottom and you'll feel better working your way back up , getting closer and closer to home.We will keep yall fixed and I have a WW2 Army surplus generator/ welder. It's 70 years old and works great. Has a jeep motor in it.It says US Army Signal Corp 1940.

North to South or vice versa makes no difference to me. Same distance either way. I hope we can get a couple guys at each place that can show us around. It wont be cheap, but it will be the cheapest way to see multiple locations. Pick 3 or 4 locations and map them out from your house. Then map to one then two then three then four and back home. It is a lot less gas. I know it is not for everyone, but it sounds fun to me and hopefully a few others.

Hi Nitro.I was going around Ft Wayne last month from Mich. I took a picture of a very old strange looking 4 story brick building off the interstate.Looks like an old Army barracks or head quarters. I love old history. Do you know anything about it?

Does not ring a bell, but a picture is worth a thousand words as they say.
