Hey all,
I just bought this buggy, my first (real) buggy. It has a (I think) 1600 type3 engine runs fine but leaks like a sieve. The engine isn't my first concern, suspension is. It has a link pin front and a swing axle rear I found a couple 3 rib trannys and will be changing it to IRS. Just not sure what I should get for arms front and rear. I would like you guys to tell me what you think would be my best options. Most of my riding is basically down gravel roads, across fields, river banks, and an ocasional gravel pit. I want air bags on the back and that part looks easy enough to do. So anyone with some good ideas feel free to jump in. I want it to climb, jump ride stable and not break. Later on after this part is done I will be looking to build an engine, I would like a large cc with turbo on propane. That part is for later, I just need what I do now to be able to handle that later. Thanks in advance
Duane

Well after thinking about all the stuff I would need to change to make this the way I want it, I have pretty much decided that I would be better off getting a new chassis and selling this one. Who makes a good chassis?

You could also just go to google n type in buggy frame. A few sights will come up. What would you have to do with that frame to make it how you want?

Can you make that road legal in Minnesota? I would jump through what hoops I had too to make it street legal. Big ass Subie motor in it, chew up Mustangs and Camaros just for somthing to do.

I all ready have a Crapmaro chewer. But making it street legal would probably help sell it.
