will a 90 mm crank fit in a as 41 brazilian case with out coming threw the top?

Yes, the 90mm crank will fit, just be extra careful when clearancing for it. Like DD said, I'd call Tim. He can give you good pointers for every bit of building a motor.

Thats right DD. Aint no way a VW journal 90 would fit, even with the chevy you'll go thru sometimes. It dont hurt it though, just patch it up.

If it don't poke through I'd be suprised.
Just be ready to patch it or buy a raised deck, bubble top case.
