 Post subject: good setup?

Do u think this is a good setup, stock 1600 case with 1641 pistons and juggs stock heads with scat rockers and a webber progressive carb

I think u hook. It to a 3 rib and only have 12" wide tires u can do just about anything with it

If the rockers are 1.25 put high rev springs on the heads & a w100 cam

Well i unfortionatlly have a car tranny with a swing axel can get a 3 rib from my buddy for cheeeeap but then have tp convert it to irs n cant afford new traling arms etc

If they are just stock rockers on Scat solid shafts go for a VZ 14 cam. x2 on the 100 with 1.25 rockers. There were stock looking 1.25 rockers. The hole for the pushrod is off set for the 1.25 ratio and centered for the 1.1 ratio. With 1.4 rockers get the FK 65 cam. Use single HD valve springs and retainers.

1641 with a swingaxle was in my first buggy back 20 years ago. I ran the hell out of that buggy and had a blast with it. Run it and have fun! :mrgreen:
