I wish it was $400-$600 for my setup, let's see, pump-$250
tank-$175
oil coolers (x2)-$250
Oberg filter-$200
Lines and fittings-$250
Reg. oil filter mount and filter-$50
This adds up to ------ $1175 to be exact
As far as the tanks go, a tank is a tank, I want mine to be aluminum for lightweight purposes and it helps dissipates the heat better in the long run IMO and the lines and the fittings are expensive because the are racing fittings and the are the best you can buy when it comes to sump systems and even on the fuel systems as well, I know I was told to use the hydraulic hoses and I do not like them because they are way overkill for the oiling systems, the oil pressure on the engines are 50-90 psi on most of them, not 1000-1500 psi and as far as the hose collapsing, the hydraulic hose is more at risk is because the lining inside the hose is a lot more thinner and it is not held in place as well either, the lining is just to let the fluid flow and the outside belt and rubber just keeps it from swelling out under extreme pressure. I asked a hydraulic expert at my workplace about this and he said that if you can collapse a 300 psi racing hose, you can collapse a hydraulic hose easier because it is not made to prevent from collapsing.
Oh and yep, I must use 24K gold fittings

Just kidding.
