is it necessary to change or even keep using the factory oil screen when using a full flow setup with a external screw on filter ?

also what about using the screen with a dry sump setup, i may decide on dry sump on my next engine teardown/build if i can find somewhere to mount a tank?

I would keep it no matter what the oil supply, It will keep any bigger peices from entering the pump wich can lock it up. It dont take much to lock up an oil pump.
