Made in photoshop, stole the original pic from a thread in this forum.

Think it's possible? Would tear up on hills i think.

That is too funny. I made these pics last year. I think it would work, but you would need roughly 1.5 times the horsepower for the extra weight and rotating weight. At least that is my guess. If it was 300 hp vs 200 hp it would probibly do pretty good. Should hook up great, just not sure how well it would steer. Might be a pain to drive, all cutters like a tank.

I would work if all you want to do is go in a straight line.

Kinda my thoughts Steve. You would have to drive it like a skid steer or make one of the rear sets have steering.

Yep I bet it would, but you need a lot power to keep the speed up. As long as I am not bottomingout traction is rarely an issue.

You'd want the rear set on some very soft springs too.

Maybe this is a buggy to put a V8 in. If the tires are moved behind the engine, making it a mid engine car, then I don't think the extra weight would be a problem.

And for the fun of it, imagine it with a set of these...

Yes a good v8 should take care of it. steering would then be the next issue. as well as the drive train. Not going to get a VW 6rib to handle that load. would need a v8 transmission and a rearend, maybe a 9". Looks like it would be fun to try.
