5/2/2010 AZ VW Club vs the AZ desert or Just another day in the AZ desert.

We ended up on FR 160 and ate lunch at Mesquite Creek.

A stop to repair the broken tie rod. Kenny still had a good 50 miles to get home.

We went in on FR 403 to 1848- 1849b -1849a-p4031-p4012f-1855b-160b-160- North up up the Bee Line SR 87 to FR 1704. Most of the trails are unmarked, without the topo map overlay its hard to show the other trail we ran to Quartz Mt and Firemans Hill. Only 1848, 160 and 1704 are marked.
