I'll tell you, and everybody hates my way of thinking, I know. California wants you to start small and buy your way up. It does not take but a few ounces more of steel to make a bigger crank or jug or cam or rod for that type 4. STOP eating out of California's hands! It already has a big flywheel , pressure plate, clutch, oil pump , hydraulic lifters, big valve heads etc.The flywheel BOLTS on instead of silly dowel pegs. Do I have to get Sam Kenneson from the grave to explain it to ya! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! And to my knowlege, don't it have 5 main bearings insteadf of 4?
Why sure it does! Type 4 has all that stuff ......
THAT DONT MEAN ITS THE BETTER OPTION FOR A CONVENTIONAL BUGGY !!!!!!!
A domestic v8 has all that and more, does that mean its better than a type 1 for a regular buggy , too?
If he ever does want performance parts for that type4, he will definitely be eating out of CA's hands, and lickin the bottoms of their feet.
Like I said, if all a man wants to spend is the money that stock t1 or stock t4 costs, then get the t4. Hell, if all someone wants to spend is
stock motor money, then get a ecotec, a 2.5 suby, a 2.2 chrysler, 22re or anything somewhat light besides an AC VW.
But if that same man is gonna want a true all out performance conventional buggy in the future, the type1 will give him a lot of performance for few thousand $$, the type4 will cost 3 times as much money but NOT be three times as powerful.
