$3000.00 to $4000.00 I am sure your thinking "Your kidding me right". Unfortunatly in todays market toys are not going for much. The reality of it is the motor is what will sell your Buggy.

Shadetree builds excellent engines. Dont think he built the whole buggy. Odyknuck is right. $4000 would be about right for that buggy to sell it very quickly at all. Its needs $1500-$1600 spent on it right off the bat to be a decent extreme climber, imo.
But after a years worth of beating on it......who knows what the value might be. Depends on how abusive, how often, and where you ride.

Shadetree builds motors, the frame is a Predator single seat.

That is a 1915 on there unless it got changed. Thats funny...when I tried to buy it off him it was sold. I was going to offer him the 3500+ I ended up using on parts.

its a good buggy hasnt been rode alot i think it would be a good trade for your xj.and so you know the only dif between the 1915 & a 2332 is the crank stuff you need to know is what cam is in it and who makes it and what brand lifters what type of rods are in it.im thinking you need to look threw some of the buggy builds to learn more about buggys.

Make sure you actually are getting a buggy before money changes hands. After being told it had been sold when it clearly wasnt makes him untrustworthy in my book. Ive dealt with quite a few people on here with perfect results but I despise being lied to....especially when I was offering a grand more than he wanted for it.

darek and his boys are great people, there is no reason to ever not trust them in my book. like brett said, someone probably said they were coming to buy it and never did or it was when dare bought it from him.

Im not smacking him around. I just had a bad experience with him & was putting it out there as a potential issue. If everybody else trusts him thats fine with me. I WAS TOLD IT WAS SOLD....PERIOD. If he wanted to keep it he could have said that. If he wanted more money he could have said that as well. I was willing to pay 25% more than his asking price because I needed it at the time. As far as Im concerned Im done with the issue. I used the money to get everything I needed for mine instead. I really dont care at this point. If I was going to beat him up you would know it...TRUST ME!!!

Lack of information and misinformation is causing problems with some ads. It is time for a stricter ad policy. Nobody is wrong and everybody is right,,,If this item is sold or no longer for sale it is time to delete this topic.
