i was out ridin tonight (friday) and i ended up walkin home its not pumpin gas to the carb i dont think but my fuel pump is still makin the noise when i flip the switch on but its not fillin my lines full of gas cause i can tell from the fuel filter its a faucet <or somethin like that any imput on any more pumps or should i go buy another faucet

but i can spray starter fluid down the carb n it runs but it misses so what could it be

Got gas in it?
Blockage in the fuel line or at the pickup in the tank?
something wrong with the float needle n seat in the carb?

Is the pump louder than normal? Those facets get loud when there is no fuel in them.

if got gas in it and gas to the pump but no gas out its a bad fuel pump.check to make sure its getting gas to it before you go buy a new pump.could be clogged off in the valve from the tank or plugged off in the inlet side of the pump.chad

yep its got gas in it, i took the line off from the pump to the gas tank and gas came out so i guess its the pump

what do you mean inlet side of the pump? where the gas line goes from the tank? should i try to clean the fittings out to see if anythings in there

sure check it to make sure there is nothing clogging it off,ive seen debri get in the fittings before and stop it up,one piece of rust aggrevated me for ever til i got it out.would run, not run,run, not run, it was a small piece of rust that had made it in there somehow.also have seen gas capps that stopped venting and it would pull a vacum and stop pumping but you should have noticed that it would have started working agian after you checked your gas.chad

The slightest amount of debris will gum up a Facet pump. You need a good filter between the tank & pump.

ive got a 1/4 fuel filter between the tank and pump like your talkin about

nah i aint fooled with it anymore ive just been ridin my 4 wheeler ill start on it sometime this week

started workin on it today it was the fuel pump but i think its bout to go out cleaned it out real good and rode it about 15 mins and it done it again! it friggen quit so im just gonna do away with this buggy

got it fixed it was the damn fuel pump this whole time ive got a solex comin for it now i went with a mr. gasket pump this time around
