looks like an old fugitive frame with a balljoint frontend, 3 rib front tires and 31 tera tires on the rear

with no extra bracing, small cockpit area, no pedal or cutting/brake setup info and no more info other than "built" on the motor and no tranny info or whether or not its irs or swingaxle i doubt its gonna bring $5k
but i have been wrong before :|

i dont think thats a good choice for ya without finding out more about the motor and trans.it would have to be a big motor and built tranny to be close imo.think about some of what MM said once you know its a good motor and tranny like a 1835 up and a good bus trans then look at the extras like does it have good tires and rims cause you can take trade off for bigger motor but if it doesnt have tires then figure that into your budget.so id say you will have to give a little on power to get stuff like that but a well built 1835 0r 1915 with a good trans will get you where you want and you may have alot more goodies on the buggy for that amount of money.hope this helps.chad

Sorry.. Just a craigslist search.. I do not know anything about the buggy..

As for engine size, I ran an 1835 with a 3 rib for many many years and never had any problems. Keep looking about keep this post alive. Something will pop up.

Unless you live in KY, all of these buggies are pretty costom. Couldn't help it larry, lol. Most are built around the owner over at least a few seasons.

WTVR , Capt. Nitro. How many times did you sit in a buggy seat on a piece of plywood while somebody built the base structure of your frame around you?? Cant get much more custom than that. Just becuz YOU dont know how to recognize the differences between KY buggies, doesnt mean they aint there. :D :D

i have rode with cyle at wellsville and seen this buggy in person last year memorial day.if it is still like it was then it is a well built buggy and you could not build it for what hes asking for it.if your looking for a single seater then this would be a good one imo, check out his build thread and you can see he done it right.chad
