After reading the instructions I realized I always assemble mine that way. Its the way they come before taking them apart.

Been there done that, that is the way I've always done that except for the lining up the CV's on both ends, I do not see a problem with the lining up part unless it is for the high-speed Porche cars that goes 200 mph on the Autobahn, the lining up part really matters when it comes to high speed for vibration reasons, other than that, I think everything else matters for the buggy.

In theory, your axle will "jump" less when you clock your cvs. it will make them last longer, but it is a pain in the a$$!

i have a copy of this hanging up in the garage.i almost know it by heart.

The issue I keep running into is my splines dont match up so I have to go one spline forward or back, which defeats the point of tring to make them perfect. Or maybe i'm just getting carried away

if im not mistaken hes talking about the actual "clocking" of the joints and not the "assembly" part about the joints

if u look at the last 2 pics you will notice the bolt hole have a "n" and a "w" in them that is in relation to the "n" and "w" part of the outer housing and in the "clocking" process the "n" bolt hole on one end of the axle is supposed to be lined up with the "w" bolt hole on the other end of the axle and that is the part racebug is talking about one spline forward or back

this thread says 930 cv's but it should hold true for any of the cv's whether its car, bus, 930, or 934
