I have question concerning a type of camshaft and was wondering if anyone has used 1 of them.Back in late 70's and early 80's we ran this brand quiet often,they were called AP.And 2 the best of my knowledge they came in AP2,AP3,AP4.I havent seen any of these camshafts lately.Does anyone know of these and who makes them,where to gettem etc,etc.They were a good performance cam from what i can remember

Those are old school cams by Resolite they offered 3 of them AP2, AP3, AP4. An AP3 was .264 duration, .318 lift. I think they were regrinds.

Thanks for the info,I couldnt remember,but what i do remember is that we mostly ran the AP3,and that it seem to have a real choppy idle to it but it did perform well in the condition and terrian we rode which was mostly iron ore mines and power lines etc in NW Alabama Thanks again for the reply and any more info would be great

I found that out when I was searching for a DDS 11-1101 cam specs. The DDS 11-1101 is 262 duration @ .050 lift and .484 lift w/ 1.1 rockers in a 2332 it pulled like an very angry freight train. It was between a VZ 30 and VZ 35. Only drawback off road was the dual 48IDAs. At least these days FI will make them alot more useable in the rough than the 48IDAs did.

Yea i heard that probably pull a crick in the neck I wouldnt mind finding one of those AP's to have around.
