 Post subject: KP VS BJ

The KP is not as tall as the BJ, difference between the tubes. KP shorter, BJ taller. OK, so is the curve on the top and bottom tubing where it connects to the front end the same?

I believe the top bar comes down further on the King Pin setup. The bottom bar is the same on both.

alot of the older frames had the bottom bar curving up alittle bit to help keep the bend on the top so steep.this is a weak point and when you try and brace it then you limit tie rod travel and it will still break if you ride it rough.if you are replacing the tubing on your frame make the top and bottom straight and drop a gussett down to the top of your beam.look at plumberbills i think he just redid his and has pics posted.chad :mrgreen:

I was just hoping to save some time by cutting out the top curve section. I' ll just buy some tubing and have it bent.
