what if u bent that lower piece of tubing back to where ur outer most beam clamps r they will most likley get bent there anyhow looks tough and im with dave im stayin out of ur way

the tube running across the bottom of the bumper will be cut back on both ends depending where my tires end up when turning. i dont want to attach anything to the lower/outer beam clamps, a hard hit would just transfer the force to the beam causing it to bend. those are there just to support the 6" wider beam from bending from a hard hit to the tire area. i like the 6" wider beam but they are prone to bending a lot easier than stock. odyknuck made some really nice saddles to use in the press to straighten the beam. why spend 200.00 on a new one when you know your gonna bend it.

great job bill on the front end , one question i have is on the lower tube you have that you said you were going to cut when you ck the turning radius, is those two stubs were you can toss a strap for those hills that ya dont make and dont want to go down backwards to fast ?

Front ends looking good. Could you shoot a picture of how you have your steering ram setup? I have the same ram and just getting started on mounting it. What brand rack it that? I see you have the sweet servo mounted directly to it, I have a saco rack and it has a male spline and so does the sweet servo.

that is a howe racing diablo rack. it came with the sweet servo attached. i bought the complete pwr steering setup from howe http://www.howeperformance.com/desertracing-diablo.htm i will post some pics tomorrow (wednesday) of the ram setup.

Looks good. You will be much happyer with the coil overs versus the torsions. Don't forget to leave 30% of droop!
