Good to know my memory is still solid. I think the 40's have f11 tubes. Ill stick with em. I was going to start with .115 fuel & .150 air with 45 idles. Seems to be pretty close to your suggestions.
Chris, The jets are out of the carbs so Im starting from scratch. Youre spot on with the 150's. Ill dial in the fuel jet up or down according to the plug readings. I think you confused the pump jet with idle. I think 0 comes stock. I was referring to thr idles at the front outside of the carb being 50's. I dont think you need to increase the pump jet unless you have a bad stumble off idle that wont go away. Sorta like changing the pump cam on a Holley.
I think Ill try 3" stacks inside my 6" filters due to the mild cam. I cut 6 inchers down to 4 1/2" on my other engine & it really smoothed out the high rpm's.
its really called the pump bypass jet,and its usally a .55,,,if u change it to a 0 it will give u a ton of throttle response,u will thank me later,,lol,,look on aircooled.net they sell them,,,u can probally go up to a 180 or 200 on ur mains and it will be a screamer,,,never a 115 main, thats a stock 1500cc motor,,,also u can drill ur squiters out to about .065,,,.050 is factory,i think, dont go any bigger on duals,if it was a single u could,,if u need any help or some main jets just to try i will ship u some and try them and u can ship me ur old ones i can drill them out,i wont charge u nothing jus give me ur old ones,,i love messing with webers,pm me if u need sumthing
