Well, I was gonna have it powder coated red, then hang a boat anchor off the back of it and put big ol' oversized tires on it, but I didn't wana be blamed for copyin' off of you!
Oh, and don't hate cause ya dont got a pair on ya like mine to even roll up on a real hill!! Not some 'bama dirt pile or a Wellsville rock to jump up! Haha. You asked for it! I'm just in a "ride you out" kinda mood today, even at school. I was on a role all day! lol.

First off, i have the same size tires as you just uncut 4plys. 2nd lol, I like my anchor, saved about $9000 for that extra 100 to 150 lbs. And third I got up all the hills they led me to at D&K. wasn't about to enter the contest though with my cutters not working worth a f@@@. And lastly I didnt put down your buggy I think its cute, and the color suits you Jr.
Sorry this is the only thread your dad has any intrest in that I can poke fun at him, just happens it's through you.

Uh I hope you're not implyin' that my dad buys me all my buggy stuff.....I work my @$% off for every bit of it. I've bought every part myself for both buggies, besides the front tires, wheels, an exhaust, and CVs he's bought me for christmas. I BOUGHT the motor from my dad, for 1800 dollars to be exact. I bought my inline from Willie with my own money too, and have payed for every bit of this new build myself. Not to sound like a punk, it just rubs me the wrong way when people think I'm like most other teens who have everything handed to them. Dad's brought me up better than that, I work for all I got. Thank ya.

Dammit Koko I proud of you for buying it all yourself. I am honestly impressed. And just bored so I thought i'd pick on ya a bit  It's a damn nice looking buggy even with the baby blue. And I'm fairly confident it would do better on any hill then mine would. Patheticly youve been riding buggies in the woods longer then I've even known it was being done. Hopefully you guys can make the Wellsville trip this M-Day with those pretty pastel buggies of yours. Didn't get much of a chance to ride with your Old man when I was down there. I think he had to hurry home to the family for Halloween.

Unfortunately, we did have to cut out becuz of Halloween for the little 'uns. Hopefully one day you can come back and we'll make a good day of it!
"Pretty pastel buggies".....LOL :D well , thank you, I think.

And Koko aint BS'in. He does work for and pay for it all himself. I built him a 2 stroke minibuggy when he was about 10 and he has been wheelin n dealin and upsellin and working ever since to get where he is at now. 8)
I help when I can, but thats few and far between unfortunately. And most of my help is in the form of tryin the best I can to get him the best deal I can, sometimes by trading out what I do (auto paint n body) to get him stuff . And we owe people like Chuck Jones, Tim Deaton of Southern Buggys, Yankee, Willie and Clayton "Hollywood" a HUGE thanks for cuttin him some killer deals.

ain't nothin wrong with pretty pastel buggies, wait till any of you guys see my buggy upclose in person and then you'll recognize a perty COLOR! hahahha..... by the way, wellsville ain't all rocks, only the power lines, lots of "goat" trail style hills and PLENTY of acerage to cut more in.. I bet the terrain ain't much different then what you fellas are running...

I've only been to each one once, but D&K is similer just tighter everywhere. And most of it is pretty hard to get a broken buggy back to camp unless you know the escape route I'm told is there. But other then that, not a huge difference. I bounced off of a lot more rocks at D&K then I did at wellsville.

Here's my motor all freshened up and blingin'.

Okay, the front end is completely done now. Yesterday I greased all the bearings and put em together, had to put it together and take it apart 4 or 5 times to get the wheels right, changin the shims on the link pins. Tie rods are made, all that. Gotta get some shorter limit straps made though.
Here are a couple pics.

I was in school when I posted that. Got done wit my work on the computer for the period so I posted it. 8) Thanks for the compliments. Yea Bucky, somebody's gotta do it so I figured I would. Seems like more and more buggies being built are the tankish cluttered up buggies. (no offense to anybody with a tankish cluttered buggy) :D I'll post more as soon as I can. Keep the input comin'!
