I have a set of 45mm Dells and they need the spindle bearings replaced in them both.I have slowly started to tear them down, one carb at a time and im not a pro when it comes to theses type of things. Is there a secret to getting the shafts out,i didn't want to beat on them if it was not necessary, but that is the only way i can think of to get them out. Also does anybody know of anyone that does rebuild these type of carbs?

Remove spindle nut, washers, butterflys, then side out spindle bearing and shaft from the linkage side.
At least that the way I remember it, but it's been years.

I cannot get the shaft out,ive broke the pump lever control arm that connects to the shaft.I didn't brake it by beating on the shaft, but when i was trying to take it off the shaft and it looks like it may be a hard part to find.Luckily i have a set of 40's that i can rob from.I have sprayed it with some lubricant and im going totry again later, but i dont want to bend the shaft by beating on it to hard.
