Haha yea. I got all the powder to do my small parts, (the black and chrome) from Caswell. But the Blue PRIMER powder was custom mixed by the same guy that mixed my dad's neon green. I wanted something different, not just the same ol blue as everybody and their Mama has on their buggy.

ANYWAYS..... As I was saying before the Camel Jockey decided to hate on me some more, I got some stuff done on the buggy today. Shock mounts are finally done, powder coated some small parts; a few brackets, and even the outer cages of my CV joints. It's coming along, I keep getting more and more anxious every day. Here are a couple pics.

The lightest brackets in the world in powder coat.:
Image

The upper shock mounts. It's a little blurry but you can kinda make it out. I'll take another pic of em in the morning and repost it.

Tell me what y'all think, Boyd go ahead and hate some more! :D

Thanks y'all!
It's JUST about ready for powder coat, besides the sheet metal under the motor and tranny! It'll be all the way done tomorrow, thank God! Had to flip it back over to weld up a few things and double check it all. I took a couple pics of it tonight just to have somethin to update you all with. Here ya go.

Puttin Yankee to work, had him welding the bottoms of all the bars we put in it. We both love to weld, so we take turns (actually, fight over) the welder! haha.

Another angle:

Just a few more days and y'all will see it in COLOR!!, it's getting powder coated this weekend. Is anybody else as anxious as me??

Thanks, Marty! I'm proud too, it makes me appreciate it way more since I'm building it from scratch and having to work for it all! It's a HUGE amount of work, but it don't bother me a bit, I know it'll be worth it when it's done! 8) :D

You will definately be done before me and the biggest thing i had to do was build a motor, not a complete buggy. So i have decided to take everything to Tim and just get it done, because i have to be there when you fire on that first hill.Plus i need some seat time so i can try to keep up with ya.

Well the frame is finally in color!! I have to say, I couldn't be more happy with it. Clayton did an awesome job as usual. It's slicker'n a greased minner! The pictures don't do Clayton's great work justice at all.
Here's a couple pics:

From the front, as soon as it rolled out of the oven.

Here's the back.

Let me know what y'all think, I'll have some parts on 'er tomorrow! :D
