I can get a dyno for a day if I can get ten buggies 50$ a buggy. 15 minutes from Ashland. Anybody interested to see what their buggy is making at the weels? Mine made 208hp and 196tq. I will post the graph when he emails it to me.

It is the s/c ecotec. And I can make about 40 more with bigger injectors, pulley, and header. But I think I will just end up breaking more stuff.

If your tranny is handling 208 already, it must be built , right?
A well built 6 rib will take well over 250, I seen a 348 hp WRX motor on one that got reamed on often.

Nope not yet, it is a stock midshift with superdiff. But as soon as I get a little ahead I am going to have Eric atleast put 1st and 2nd in it. But I don't think I am going to be able to resist a 40 hp gain for a couple hundred bucks, even if I don't need it.
Larry was the 348hp at the wheel or crank. And does anyone know what kind of hp you loose through a bus tranny.

At the crank, I believe. Couldnt get a clutch to hold for very long, and dont think he was ever happy with the weight bias, but I dont remember him breakin trannies. I'm sure tranny was loaded. Good R&P and all gears and anything else one could upgrade in a 6rib. Now its over 400 hp, in a baaad custom chassis 4WD.

It is a sweet 4x4!

No one interested in dynoing their buggy. I thought that was a pretty good deal at 50 bucks a buggy. I have about 3 or 4 lined up need a few more before I set up a date. I figured it would be a good event for this winter while it was cold. Phil at the bug shak in Grayson is going to see how many he can get together. I think it would be great to get some suby, vw, Honda, and whatever else. To see Fthe diffrent power curves. If we could get more than 10 the deal gets better.

It is a good deal, I'd love to see what my torque curve is. But 12 hrs on the road and $200 in gas kinda ruins the deal.

Nope it is not portable. But we could try to do it on a weekend and have a ride like at Rush afterwards.

The green lines were the first pull and the blue was the last. Look how much smoother after it was tuned.
