gotta say i love this site !!! i am in the process of converting my vw powered rail in to a water bug. i picked up this rail for like 500$, i cant tell what kind it is but it looks a lot like a berrian. to the good part i am removing my 1641 dp and dropping in a volvo b230ft, the donor car is an 89 volvo 740gle. we dynoed the car and it put 135hp and 155tq down at the wheels. the car only has 54000 mils on the motor so every thing is real nice. i am mating this up to a bus trans axle with 930 conversion. I debating on tires !!! i want some tractor tred tires but i am having trouble finding them, so i think i wll buy some boggers. what do u guys think ??? any advise i cant get going into this would be great !! ,,, also i wanna load the torsion bars and lift the rear end , any help or advise here ??

Lots of folks like the sound of the VW but like there are a few motors that sound good in there own right that ain't VW . I like the fact that folks are trying different stuff. I like ,,,no love the power that my motor has now . And I had a very well tuned 2387 it is like night and day .By being able to put the two motors in the same buggy realy told the story.

Man sorry to hear about your mom. its cool that you still have high spirits about life. When my dad died in 2003 I thought my world was over for about two years. Then I found some true friends and they got me to snap out of it

yea its life it happens , i learned this over the years being in the army and on constant combat tours !! i spent 4 out of 6 years over there and it happens, if you let your self be all down and dont go on you miss out on life !! and nothing i can do will change anything!!!
