hp all depends on what you are putting in the motor...performance isnt cheap, never was, and never will be..with that being said odyknuck has a hell of a deal on his 2332 and your not gunna build what he has for less. when you do build a well built engine you have to be willing to dish out the dead presidents and upgrade a trans.( which isnt cheap), as well as rest of driveline...and if money is an issue your better off building a smaller motor with better parts then a big a$$ motor with junk parts...jsut remember just because you got a 2276, 2332, a 6 million and 1 cc engine doesnt mean its gunna run worth a $hit, its all in what you make of it...

I understand the joy of building it yourself. But you can save time and money buying one built from racebugg or Odyknuck.

the guys are tellin you the truth ody has a gr8 deal and if you dont know him let me tll you its done right.if you go out and build a cheep 2276 or a 2332 you will be sick.i could have built a ok 2500 4 what iv spent on my 2386 but bigger isnt allways better.iv seen alot of guys sittin at the bottom of a hill talkin about thier big motor and if that what you want thats cool but id rather sit at the top of some big ass hill sayin how good my little motor runs.id rather have a killer runnin 1915 with dul-carbs and a good set of heads then some shity strokermotor

Amen to that.. I ran my 1835 for years without any problems. Unfortunately, I have spent the majority of this summer trying to get the bugs worked out of my 2276.. I will take reliability over power any day.

As for the cost, I have dropped over $3000 in just parts and I still may need to buy some more parts..

Good Luck..
