Yes they do bolt on. I used 1 1/4 inch tubing to the chassis and made bars from 1 1/2 tubing and they slide on. I did'nt make tree bars real solid with the original thought that i would rather they bend than my chassis and i could make new ones if i bent the crap out of them.

Thanks. Its heavy 1800 lbs and the hoops are for tie down purposes. Ratchet straps or bungees depending on what i'm securing. I can haul a spare if need be.

Yes they are. They are from late 90s ford super duty trucks. They protect the rear calipers on those too. They are pretty strong. I have since changed to four piston wilwood calipers mounted on top of arms. Those old calipers would'nt stop a go-cart. Image
