Got the seats in today and started on the wiring. I found out that the passenger and drivers seats are different. Got the drivers seat all mounted and when I went to put the passenger seat in the turning brake was hitting. After bitchin for a while I pulled the passenger seat out and my buddy noticed that it said "driver" under it. Wow, never noticed that  Switched the seats around and everything works like it is supposed to.

The edge of the seat closet to the tunnel area is about a half inch closer to the mounting brakets than the edge closest to the door.

What do you guys think of trying to use ABS plastic for the dash and footwell areas? Maybe even the roof section. I was just thinking that it would make less noise than the aluminum vibrating.

No real progress lately, but I did pull the baja out of the warehouse the other day. So I have a couple of new pics.

That is really nice. It's obvious you have alot of hours in it, I'm sure you can't wait to finish it.

Thanks guys. The way work and life has been going I probably wont have it done till around the end of the year. I will be definately be making some trips up to ride with you guys when its done. As far as street legal goes, that is the plan. Well see what the state of florida has to say about it :?

I picked up my headlight buckets and some H4 halogen bulbs today. Hopefully I will get my diamond plate by the end of the week. What thickness are you guys using on your buggies?

Thanks for the info Roy. I checked out a few different thicknesses today. I think that since it is just going to be for shielding from dirt and rocks (footwell area and dash) that I will probably go with .080. I think thats what he said it was anyway.

I got the headlight buckets in today. It seems as though the old one I used for a mockup isnt available anymore so they dont fit exactly the way I wanted them to but it will work.

Well after trying for about another hour today to get the H4 headlights to work with those housings I finally gave up. They just wont fit right. I guess I will have to go with regular headlights.

I did manage to get started on the diamond plate today. Between packing the warehouse, trying to get parts ready to ship out, and working on the baja it was a full afternoon. Heres the only shot I got before the battery died on the camera. Hopefully i will be able to finish up the diamond plate tomorrow.

Looking SWEET man. I love it!

If it was mine, I couldn't wait to go get it dirty.

Well I finally got all moved! I moved out of the warehouse I was sharing, into the one I work out of during the week. The cost was right (free :D ) I also moved out of the condo I was in and into a house. So you can imagine all the fun I have been having for the last month and a half  But I did manage to get together all the money I need to finish the baja. Or at least I think so, but you know how that goes  Anyway things should start moving along pretty good now.

Glad to see you back online here. I have wandered about you when I drive back and forth from Florida these past two months.
