 Post subject: got my beadlocks done

heres how it turned out. im not sure if i like the colors i put on the wheels.i look at them once and i love them then the next time i look at them i dont like them. not sure if ill keep the yellow color or not.

Thats Cool how you painted the wheels 2 tone . You didnt have dual carbs when we where at Windrock did you ?

i think i put those carbs on the weekend after windrock or somewhere around then. took her 4 a spin 2night and shes runnin bout the best she ever has. just hopes she keeps it up till after halloween weekend. the last ride at d & k i wasnt sure if she was goin 2 pull herself out of the woods :shock:

i allready had the wheels, i believe the beadlock kit was 52.00 a wheel, and bout 25 dollars or so in the paint, so in total around 130.00

Cant beat the do it yourself beadlocks from summit! I got'm and love'm Blowing tires off the rim every 30min was gettin old, and they seem to be holding up extrememly well, definitly good investment for the money looks good moondog

i got a small leak around the weld on 1 of them im goin 2 try 2 fix it with silicone today

i use the same beadlocks on on bug, the best part about them is when you get a flat, the tire wont come off the rim, so you could climb scooby doo with a flat tire all night long. :lol: :lol: :lol:
