Sad he ran motor 3 times. Started running bad to he checked and found bent push rod tube. So I helped him take it apart to repair. Found that valve lash was about 1/4. Some of the push rods were falling out of the cups...

Hey Boyd,

Thanks for the help trying to get my engine running and thanks to everyone else for helping me load my buggy on the trailer. Even though, I got ran over in the process..  I took my buggy up to Kentucky Saturday night and it turns out the lifters were reamed out.

As for Iron Horse, the place looked like a lot of fun. There is one insane hill climb that I am sure many of you would love to try. (Not Me) I really like the rally racing, it was a blast to watch. I think Boyd wins for hang time off the jump.

Any news on MaryAnn? I hope she is doing well and I wish her my best on a quick recovery.

it would be nice if we could get a post of everybody in each class of where there finished and there times for each round so they could see how they did each round and see if they were better or worse for each go around to maybe figure out how to do better next time. that was just a thought

however i dont know if there is any way to improve on boyds wheels up launches off the starting line

Maryann broke her arm just below the shoulder. Tore everything up inside. Muscles tendens everything. When through 6 hours of surgery saturday night and was still in ICU sunday afternoon from what I understand. But shes doing fine. Just a lot of torn up stuff. Fred said it almost took the hole arm off. Just the back skin and a few tendens or something was hold her arm on. Thats the latest news I know of.

MM - Keep those spare parts I gave you for when you or someone else has some trouble and can use them. I don't think any of those pushrods will fit my motor so they are only to help other people in need. Hope you get it gong soon.

I ment to take a picture of the time board to post on here. Woops... I was too concentrated on James's.... well just being james. HAHAHA WEST SIDEEEEE! lmao

She was playing around on the rally track and didnt make a turn and went off a berm and the berm kinda threw the car off center and her wind shield bar and shoulder hit a tree we think. Took a huge chunk out of the tree and left big red paint spot. Then after that she ended up in a water hole in the center of the track. Not deep. But nose dived down into it a good ways. Had to cut the roof out to get her out. It was a pretty crazy event. Just heard she was doing better this morning.
