Anyways, excuses...my ass. I tried over a month ago (back when DD was blowing about how he could "terrorize" little buggies) to get y'all to meet me at Pickwick on nuetral grounds this weekend. All I heard was crickets chirping when I posted it.

WOW that was a little unnecessary i dont think i was putting u down in any way their just said your buggies would do good their so calm down and he did not say it terrorizes all buggies that are vw he just is getting it out their that for what money he has in it people that cant spened thousands and thousands on a what u call little buggy can try going his way for alot less money he is just trying to progress the sport and give more options to go with and their is no need in trashing someones elses buggy or them cause everyone of us is helping this sport out im dif ways some with money some with ideas and new creations and i think he said it terrorizing most traditional buggies and u do not have a traditional buggy their buddy if u got over 10 thousand or so in it its not close to a traditional buggy u got a high end buggy. and i dont know u for all i know u a good guy but when people get on here talking about people and their buggies its doing nothing but holding this sport back and this is not directed just at u its to anyone that gets on here and say things that do nothing but set this sport/hobby back

Thanks Jessie and no disrespect to KY but I have spent over $10-20k in failures to try to help po folks so they could have something and finally did it and want to proclaim the Passat on a mountain top.I go out to the woods and bust my butt with a chain saw that will go thru my artery before I even feel it ,for US! No rewards ! NONE! If i get killed ,people will stand around my casket and talk about how dumb I was."You hear about DD cuttin his own leg off and bleedin to death? what a dumb! Uh Uh ! no way ,he about a dumb....My Viagra won't work so I flushed it , now the lid won't stay down! :x Out there cuttin today and ran across 3 guys from Ft Wayne Indiana. They are down here on a job for a year, working for ACIPCO , the company who owns the land. They said Acipco said to wear it out. They ride atv's and a dirt bike and they will be there Oct 10th n 11th.Dave out.

No disrespect felt....this time, but your first thread was a duzzie, Dave.

You are right in many ways Jessie, but Dave shouldve at least intoduced himself for a bit before the claims of superiority rushed off of his keyboard in his first post. There is another way to build very potent buggies that you can get away with spending $6-$7k also (see wbsouth's) ,but you didnt hear that guy jump on here all crazy like and claim how much better his is for the money. And I gaurantee he's as tough as nails in ANY good buggy and has the right to brag, but he didnt.
It just went thru me when ol' boy posted that. At least take a buggy a few different places and establish some credibility before the bragging starts.
I've heard from more than one person he is a fine feller and maybe it would not have sounded like such a boast in person, but reading it was another story.
Then somebody started in on the "31" diggers cant get around down here" and all that bs. Thats a load. Heard it all before about other places, prove 'em wrong everytime. Dont need all that clearance when you got bite, slick bottom, wheel speed, good hp/lb, and less weight.
And then after Dave and I went back n forth a little, I went against my grain and offered to meet somewhere in the middle and got no response. Didnt harp about it, jus figured he wasnt able to ride the 3rd, no big deal, but apparently that date is not a problem at all.
Anyways, doesnt matter, now I get to go my favorite place and spend less money on fuel, all is good. I went overboard to make a point that might not have needed to been made.
Y'all be careful and have fun.

Do you need a joke? Pull down your pants. :P

And just when I was trying to be friendly to you, you jab me.

You sayin my motor is a joke? Come on up and get ya some of this joke. If I only had 175 hp and my buggy weighed 2800lbs+, I damn sure would not brag about it. You are going to load up for Fultondale aint ya? Since you will already have all your stuff ready, bring it on up the highway a little further to D&K and if you climb everything I do, I'll pay for your difference in fuel costs. If you dont, you dont pay have to me nothin, you just have to STFU. You wont do it though, you wouldnt even meet me halfway when I offered it a month or so ago.

I doubt I need any help from you or your Clem Kadiddlehopper lookin buggy  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrmOuemrfe0

By the way, you have sent what little Hp you got thru TWO 90 degree direction of power changes, how much you think is getting to those 150 lb wheel/tire combos? Not enuff to overcome that weight, Jack. Not on a hillCLIMB.

But I bet that 1641 runs good all day long turn key! If you blow it up, like what 300 bucks to rebuild it?
