ive never been to one of these much less raced in one and would kinda like to know what type of setup i would need on my buggy but i am definetly interested in being in this event ! :D

Its gonna be about 25 miles long. 2 Laps. 8 buggies at once. 4 buggies leave at a time. One min. between the two sets of 4. Half wooded, half open. Many large jumps. No hills. Fast pace. Many spots of 80+ mph speeds.

WAIT! I just woke up from a dream sorry....

Heard its some big banked turns, a small light jump or two. No big deal. About 50 sec long runs or so? You get two runs. Thats the gossip Ive heard. Prolly not big enof for me to make boost.

so is it one at a time or all at once?

is the terrain loose, packed, or rocky?

Woops. Yea one at a time aginst the clock. Best time in 2 runs wins. I have no clue on the terrain. Don't hold me to anything cause I've only heard through the gossip line.

I spoke with Iron Horse today... The race will be held on a 3/8 mile "Somewhat Oval" track with two high bank turns on each end. No Jumps. Good Packed Dirt..

$12 per person (under 6 is free)
$25 pre-registration
$30 Registration

So who is going here and who is going to D&K?

I think me and Rob are going to the Rally Race and to D&K Halloween ride.

No jumps at all? Not even some little woops or something? :(

if theres something to hit chances are you will find it firebug. maybe its a good thing there isnt any trees on the track after every ride thats on here i look at the posts to check on you and see if you made out all right.one day that big circle of life that we go around in and they say it all comes out one day in the wash is going to have to give you a jackpot lottery ticket or something to make it even with you.to be one of the nicest down to earth people i've met on here im sorry to say it but your luck sucks.maybe you will win this race and get you some cash to put back into your buggy, well youve already did that so put in your pocket  chad

So what is the deal with the money? 1000 bucks if 25 buggies show? Split how many ways? How many classes? And 25 buggies? Wow. For an event that no one really knows anything about. I'm not driving 6 hours for a chance to win 300 bucks.

I do not like that part either. IF BUGGYS show up!
Either put the money up or not. Then that way if you drive there you will know up front what you are running for.

LOL Marty. Ill just let Jessica drive.

I understand you have to WIN to get money but I'm not sure I want to make the drive when I have the CHANCE to only win 300 bucks.

25 buggies RACING is seems a bit optimistic to me. The last couple of hill climbs at wilborns I don't think had that many total.

25 buggys for park to add purse might be hard to do ,,they should at least match entry fees.,,,and turbo buggys should pay double,,triple if the driver is full of hot air.

When I talked to IRON HORSE, de did say that it will be $1000 plus entry fees. Winner will probably take $1500 or so

i have no intentoin of going to this but have been reading it on here and in the first post it says 1000 plus entry fees but it also says 25 buggy minimum so if 25 dont show up are you not getting to race and do you get your entry fee back or do race for entry fees and not the 1000 dollars but the thing that gets me is that it says atv and buggys and if you are racing a atv on a dirt track you will probly be donating your money.pick a person call this place and get the low down u all have me wanting to know what they are doing now and im not even going lol.25 buggys at 25 to 30 bucks a pop thats 625 to 750 dollars on top of entry fees.how many places they paying also.chad
