 Post subject: COMBO HELP!

ok so i just got some mocked up raised 3" combo spindles in a trade and what nut do i need to use to hold the brakes on? would a clamp aluminum nut work? i need help so i can put my brakes on!!!!

If your asking what nut holds the wheel hub on its a standard VW size and thread on all the Combos I have seen and yes the clamping style Aluminum nut will work. You will still need a steel thrust washer behind it.

yes that is what im asking...i just got my brakes in from Gear One...and they sent the whole set up but i just need the nut and bolt that goes to hold the hub onto the spindle...thanks fo your help! what would you recomend...? is aluminum ok or should i go stronger? its not much of a price difference when it comes to nuts for a spindle...

I use the clamp on Aluminum. I dont know what bolt you are refering to.

you answered my question and the bolt that i was talking about is the treaded section of the spindle shaft....(i dont know the tech. names of the parts)

This is my first build so im new here
