I'm in need of one single Solex/Brosol 40/44EIS, aka, Kadron i think is what they are called.
this is what we've got on our 1835 for the time being, we are wanting to get webers eventually. but right now just being in the building phase of this buggy we just need one of these carbs.
we've got the dual setup that ran perfect when we stored the engine.
when we went to use the carbs on my brothers engine a month or so ago. one of them wasnt working properly. so i tore it apart 3 times, had the guy at the buggy shop look at it, he tore it apart 2 times. i've since tore it apart 2 more times, and let it soak in a gallon bucket of that carb cleaner stuff for 3-4 days, and tried them again on our engine, and that one damned carb is just bound and determined that it isnt going to work.
so if there is anybody even remotely close to Florence Alabama that has one or two of these carbs lying around, may i please come get it so we can get this thing cranked and running good...
we dont want to spend any money on something like this knowing we are gonna spend big bucks on some webers within the next year or so.
and also since i'm asking for freebies, i've got seveal single carbs and intakes to trade/give away also if somebody is building a small engine and is in need of something like that.
