this is the 2nd time i had this happen. these are the import adjusters, 75.00 for the complete weld in adjuster with the fingers. you get what you pay for, sway-a-way sells the fingers 75.00 each (McKenzies ...there on the way)

when I rolled at hillsville and blew my bag, we engineered up pieces of wood with ratchet straps to get my buggy back to camp.... You must've been riding with dave and steve, haha.

yeah i have done this before to get it home.you will come up with alot of things when your down and out and have to.lol.lets see duct tape,bungee cords,vise grips and oh yea a chunk of tree lol.instant woods buggy rescue kit.now hand me my beer lol.chad

Back when i wheeled a s 10 blazer I had a leaf spring break on my car trailer on the way to wellsville. So to make it home with the blazer on the trailer I jacked up the trailer, stuck a piece of firewood in between the axle and frame and ratchet strapped it all together. That was a real white knuckle ride home.

Bill you'll have to do some modifying on the SwayaWay fingers(large) or the Latest china junk housing(smaller id) They wont work together with out a lot of grinding,,,been there done that

I used my belt sander and dipped finger in water to keep it kool while grinding(sanding) it down

according to mark at mckenzies there's two different fingers, large and small. he had me measure the o.d. of the round/splined area. i have the smaller of the two.the imports and the sway-a-way measure the same o.d.
are you saying i may still have to make adjustments?

got the new fingers, looks like they will fit right in.

the new one looks just a little bit bigger,i bought one of these adjusters when my torsion bar slipped inside my housing,and i am going to put it in my other frame now.let us know if you have to trim these or if it goes right in just in case i have the same problem later on i say that i will and i refuse to buy anything else from latest rage.everything seems to be made alot cheaper lately and been shipped in here from china.they told me it would be 8 months before they can replace my torsion bars,and that it may be longer depending on customs letting them get there new press shipped in to china.wouldnt refund my money just an exchange and they knowed that they was bad when they put them out.so if you are thinking of buying latest rage torsion bars you may want to reconsider.chad

i see what mudmutt was talking about. the fingers are slightly larger then the imports. they wont slide into the import housing. i just have to cut then down on the mill.
