Putting a new pair of Axles and springs on my lengthened trailer. I have a load leveler for in the middle, but not a 100% on installation. I think I put both shackles to the middle, and no shckle on the center hole of the leveler. Anyone gotta pic so I do this right?

If it is might want to read up about how they fail with no maintenance.

According to the Axle Equalizer Safety Alert

grease your leaf spring equalizer assembly every six months.

So just grease the bolt and put it back, ok.

I'm not sure because I never dealt with them but that’s what I get from the article.

Its true , they will cause your axles to ride all weird if the bolts arent kept greased up and they get to where they bind up. I went thru three new trailer tires on one side on my enclosed gooseneck before I figured it out  .

I dont think they are any problem as long as you take care of them. I've had no problems with them on my car trailer or camper, the trailer I had a problem with is old and had not been maintained at all.
