Never used their crank, but the h-beam rods seem to be great, and they have so many head configurations, hard to generalize. I've had no bad luck from any heads I've used from them.

I run all CB Performance parts on my engine, check out the BOTM of January 2009 on the Powerplant specs. I really like the parts, I run them hard and it never misses a beat, so far so good.

I have a CB performance crank in mine, and i have no problems with that, but I had the CB performance H beam rods in my first motor. and the problem with those, was the rod bolts, they are 5/16th bolts but the center of it was turned down to a 1/4" and thats what let loose in my motor. they were ARP bolts and I thought that they wouild hold up, now i use Scat H beam rods, with 3/8 rod bolts, for about five years now. the funny thing about the CB performance crank, was i thought i was buying an American product, the package even said it was made in America. but 6 months after i bought it, i got a letter in the mail from an attorny, wanting to sue CB performance because the crank was actually made in china. if any one wants to buy 3 CB performance H beam rods i got them, as far as the CB performance heads go, i have a set on my motor, i had Jim custom VW rework them and i like the heads alot.

My crank and heads are from CB Performance. My motor has been together for 6 years without any troubles.
