So it looks like we are going to hit 1000 members soon. I gotta tell you I would not have guessed there was 1000 of us out there.
As I have told lots of you I started this site to sell trailing arms. The forum was an afterthought. When it was added I figured some of my buddies that ride at the Cold Spot and Wellsville would post a few pictures on it and that would be about the end of it. I never would have guessed that it would bring so many of us together.
Before the site I used to go to ride in different areas. I was always found it interesting how each different group had their own style. It seemed that they had a tire that worked best for them. They all had a certain engine setup that they liked . And I am sure this had to do with the type of riding they did and the terrain they had to deal with. Now with this site we are able to share ideas. Now guys in Ohio can look and see what guys in Alabama are doing and take some of their ideas and apply them to what is working for them. This idea sharing can’t be anything but good for Woodsbuggies. Lets face it what we call Ky. Buggies are now being built all over the eastern U.S.
There is no way this site could have gotten here without all the folks that have volunteered to help out. All of the Moderators work hard to keep the site focused and moving forward. This is not always easy. From time to time our conversations tend to get off track and the Mods are the ones who do what it takes to get things back on track. I am hesitant to mention names here because I an afraid I will forget someone. But I do want to mention three guys. Dave “DVS1” Curt “Chaindrive Rail” And Marty “Firebug”. These guys have worked very hard to promote Woodsbuggies and WOODSBUGGY.COM. They are the ones who keep the site going. And of course there is me. “D. Marks” I am good at delegating. I have managed to get others to do all the work and I just get to travel around, meet folks and ride at new places.
So lets keep this site growing. If you have any ideas you think will help send them to us. More than likely we will give them a try.
We have some members from Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and California. I have been out west and there are lots of guys out there that are riding the same type of buggies we do. I can see them joining our site and this thing could really grow. Not everyone west of the Mississippi drives six figure rails. Maybe we can give those guys a place to call home.
So please keep being part of the site. If you can, come and join us at one of our events.
You will enjoy meeting the members of the site and make some great new friends.
I would also like to mention our advertisers. Please before you buy anything give these folks a call. They can get you anything you need. We need to support the guys who support the site.
Thanks everyone and keep up the good work.
Dean

Dean and Everyone Else

I can not say "Thank You" enough.. I love riding dune buggies and I truly appreciate all of time and effort people put into supporting and growing this sport. From the kick ass website to coordinating hill climbs and get togethers, you guys have done a great job building momentum around dune buggies.

Thanks again for all that you do and I hope to meet more of you over the next few seasons.
Dan
