That thing is awsome! I see a mid engine single seat buggy in my future. Great inspiration!

It seems most of the Supra diffs were 4.30 gears, is this low enough or are you planning to change the ratio? What are your plans for axles?

I"m running a 571 r/p which is as low as they make so its got to be low enough or I"ll have to add some power or chain drive it lol. I"ve not ordered they axles yet but they will be 930s.

Thanks everyone for great comments hope to see you in the woods very soon !!

[quote="instigator"]if you get the chance pick up a corvette center. i believe a mid 80's can be upgraded to a dana 44 inturnals.
There was a buggy at the Lansing, MI swap meet that was running a Jaguar carrier with a spool. He said it was a junkyard part for about $200 (minus spool)

Newbie here, just wondering how good these mid engines do on anything other then hills. Seems like it would have a very heavy front end for trail riding. Which, once again newbie here, would mean less weight transfer and traction to the rear wheels on level ground. Should have excellent traction when standing up climbing a hill tho.
