What the hell was that moron doing at the bottom of the hill while you were climbing?
Actually I used to have insurance on my buggy though State Farm. They told me it would cover someone in a accident. I dropped it a long time ago. I think it was $300 per year. Don't know if they still offer it.

back in 2000, my garage burnt down with my buggy in it, thats when i found out home owners insurance does not cover the buggy, they said "the only thing it will cover would be a vehicle or equipment to maintain your property or a handicap vehicle." and when i asked state farm about insurance for the buggy, they said, "yay, we'll take your money" i forgot how much they were gonna charge me, it was quite a bit and it would only cover the buggy up to $ 5,000. that wouldnt even pay for my motor.

To cover the buggy you would likely need an apraised value for them to insure it. As far as covering injury to spectators I would think you would need a balloon liability plan, but I doubt they would pay or cover anything if it was offroad. Personal injury is very difficult to ensure and if you didn't have the money or insurance they would just go after the property owner or anyone else they could suck the life out of.

you can insure the buggy as a ohv like an atv etc. 6000.00 for 230.00 a year. nice if you total it or it got stolen.
