We had the same problems with cyles buggy just cut them off and redo them. I have no idea what they jig the mounts with or if they even do. If you have some more problems list them on here i can probely help you out been there done that. By the way i bet one of your down bars go right into your header left side looking at it from the back.

Hey Darek I talked to Tim, he said it was mocked with a 6rib with a 5rib bellhousing. Now why this was done I have no freaking clue probably was ordered that way maybe. I haven't gotten to the motor yet but I will tonight after what you just informed me. Everything else seems to be going ok so far.

Hey Ody thats not a bad idea, I just really wanted to move the bottom one so I didn't have to have more stud sticking out of the motor. I think I am going to throw the motor up on there tonight see what we are working with.

that would make sense with the 5 rib housing the down bar would miss the header. they are very well built frames we are real happy with my sons i feel safe with him wanting to climb hills in it . i told him to get the predetor becouse he wants to climb bigger hills. not to mention they look bad a##.

Well I got most of it done tonight. It is basically complete on the fab side. I still need to do something about a drysump tank, I like the one Dave posted but it was kind of beatup, I am going to call Tim about the triangle one tomorrow. I also need to go up to Greg's one day and do all my welding. I still need to mount my trailing arms and get my shocks mounted up, put roof tabs in, and a backup light. I also after taking all your advice I cut the weld on the backside of the tranny mount then heated it up, sucked it tight with a bolt and then rewelded it. fits perfectly now. The pedals are made like that because the way the frame is it is hard to position your feet just right and get a good centered feel. I laid light guage plate to make a "floor" above the floor I also have something to brace my feet against. The battery box is directly behind my seat, I figured nice weight distro there being the battery is heavy. Heavy duty aluminum late model tierods with 3/4 heims. I drilled the spindles out to 5/8th's but it seemed a bit big for the spindle, do you think I should throw a different set on there and redrill them to 1/2? I can get 1/2 inserts for my heims at the race shop. I think thats it. Thanks for lookin, still thinking about powdercoat we will see.

Ok Solo That ain't plate steel you welding in the floor is it ? if it is DON'T DO IT ....Plate is weight ...Trust me you don't want no more than you got to have

Other than that ,That frame is cool .But ain't half the fun being able to take some unsuspecting sucker for a ride

We were at wind rock one time and a guy got hurt way back in the woods {on a 4 wheeler} and the parametics had to go in and get him 2am in the morning .By 2 every one that was not passed out yet was well on the way  So all them guys hauled all them guys in    Needless to say it was verry interesting

haha good story ya got from that one i bet. it is plate but its 14gauge which all in all prolly weighs 5 pounds. Mud on my boots is more than that haha plus it will keep the frontend down on those 94 degree climbs.

Kyle, Rock is right. If your gonna try to climb big stuff, ditch the plate. It might keep your front end down, but it'll also work against the buggy transferring and biting. 5 lbs. DOES make a difference, especially on the front end of a light buggy.

There will be no try only make! haha man it is wayyyy to late for all that advise it is fully welded and smoothed already. done deal but i really doubt it is even 5 pounds. and i have to have it there is just no other options for my feet up there i am to damn tall i guess.

I am really really really hoping to be there for the hillclimb. I am just waiting to mount my arms and fab up the shock mounts. Going to order my dry sump tank from Tim today and hopefully I can tear down my motor this weekend to send off and get balanced. After it gets balanced its downhill from there just put it all together.

I am thinking about getting so new front arms also. What are most of your guys running +1? I have combo spindles now but I need to find me a set of arms just have no idea what sizes I need.

None of your pictures will load!! I even looked at your old build thread and none would load on that one. Was wanting to see more pics of the saturn rack your using.

There ya go Bryan all the servers are back up and running today. No more wind thank god.

I am using a offroad rack in this one I can't use the saturn rack its to big. The other build the saturn rack works perfectly. The double shear mounts I made on that one never failed.

Few updates its getting really close. Got it fully welded yesterday and picked up my arms from Dean. Got all the belt tabs in and seat is all bolted down securely. Just waiting on my 930 cv kit to get here and can get shock mounts fabbed up. I STILL need to order my dry sump tank been being lazy on that one thats really the last fabbed piece I need to fit. Everything else is ready. By weekend maybe some paint or powder will fly.

Did you finish welding the 2x2 tubes together? Looks like it in the pic.
