I bought some cheap red empi ball joint bushings because that’s all they had. I called scat about delrin bushings but they said they don’t make them for ball joints. I bought a set for my linkpin beam years back and they were hard plastic or something. The ones I got for the balljoint beam are soft and smooshy. Wondering if anyone has had any luck with the soft cheap empi bushings. The stock bearings and bushings feel good, or I think they do. If I put an arm in and try to move it every thing feels tight no slop front to back. Should I just keep running the stock stuff and take back the crap?

Thanks, Brad

I was told that the red "pro-thane" bushings will not hold up to a suspension shock set up. Try McKenzies see if they can make them.

If the stock parts are tight then run them untill they are not. As I recall they are roller bearings, correct me if I am wrong. Keep them greased and you will be fine. I had them in my red buggy and they held up great. I was certainly not easy on them.

My brother ordered a set of Delrins from Saco because McKenzies was out of stock on them. Nice bushings. 8)

i had red ones in my old buggy. those stockers in that beam will prly be fine if u keep it greased, i never did haha... have your stepdad or father in law or whoever u said the machinest was spin u up some delrin seals, i'd do it for you if i had a lathe... u could even make them greasable seals.... f*ck there goes my million dollar idea.
