Between this Curt/D&K event, and WB.com Wellsville Mem. Day, '09 is shaping up to be one of the best buggy riding years yet!

There's much more to come too. The rest of the world may be slowing down but WBing is just getting bigger and better.

Also, don't forget that WB.com is having a cruise on the 31st of this month. There might still be time to go with all of us if you want and the price is right too.

If your 3 hrs. north of Wellsville,it would be about 8-10 hr. trip.Well worth it though, especially for the event they are going to put on.

Here is the result of the last "organized event" that I competed in. It was at the Carter County fair last year, they had a circle track with jumps and bumps all through it. It rained the night before and got it all muddy. I thought I would throw the road tires on and ride in to watch the action. I got there and they had an odd number and finally talked me into racing. I borrowed a helmet that was about 4 sizes too small and joined in. They ran two buggies side by side at a time. I had to ride this thing home afterward with the temperature down around 50 degrees, after dark for about 25 miles. There was at least 500 pounds of mud on it when I got it cleaned up the next day.

I have a problem with competition. I'll blow one sky high if I can get at least one wheel ahead of the other guy.

Why a full face helmet? They may be safer in a roll over but I can't drive a greased plug up a goats ass with a full face helmet on. Is a motorcross helmet considered "full face"?

Seems like a good idea to award more points for climbing the hill on the first try. May get confusing though.

I have know Roy for a few years, and I ALWAYS look forward to the time every year, when Roy, Bert and Dave come to Wellsville to ride. They are GOOD people.
