Cool stuff. Were you running 1/8th or 1/4?

1/8th mile
.500 tree
It was pretty fun. Not worth giving up a day in the woods , though!

M/T sportsman DOT 's SUCK!! 31.50 x 16.50's. No bite, whether I ran 'em cold, dry hopped, or boiled them! Air pressure changes didnt help either. Buggy was a hand full of the line and when I hit second. Tried leaving soft and short shifting out of first, still spun.
Best time was a 9.38 at about 70 mph. Surprised that the ET's were that slow, because it FEELS faster than a 8.10 355 T/A I built and used to play with a little. I guess because the buggy is open. I should've took off my 40's and SEII heads, and slipped on the Superflows and 48's that are collecting dust.

Thanks for the pic , Bruce!

I spend a lot of time at the drag strip. We had our car out this past weekend doing some 1/8th mile runs. We usually only run the quarter mile. Definitely is over quick. Our best et Saturday was 3.94. Still have some work to do to get back down in the 3.80's.

Nice to meet you too, Aaron. That is one bada$$ drag bug you got! Hope to see you at D&K.

Roy , you guys got to have an awesome car! I've only seen one car run 3.80 or better in the 1/8 at our local track (Ohio Valley), and it was a dragster. Jerry Decker & sons car. Driven by an 18 year old! That is freakin scootin'!! Its over before your eyes can focus on the car leavin the line! The owner wasn't happy either, he said it would run 3.60's!

They've sold it since though, and built a pro mod (I think) with a 1st generation Camaro body that I hear is faster than the rail was!
